Web Project Management. Resource Development.
3.04.2009 | PORTFOLIO, Resource Development & Training, Web Project Management

The Law Courts Education Society of BC was contracted by the Department of Justice Canada to pioneer the development a set of pilot websites for victims and witnesses of crime. I was hired by LCES to manage the lifecycle of this high-profile .5 million dollar project.
This aspect of the project – called CaseLink – consisted of developing a prototype, password-protected, interactive website that would allow British Columbia Crown lawyers to quickly communicate case information to victims and witnesses during a trial.
My role consisted of directing and managing all aspects of site development and pilot programming. This included conducting needs assessments, hiring and managing creative workers, managing business requirements and process flows, managing design and database development, conducting user testing and building relationships with key stakeholders across Canada.
CaseLink was developed for lawyers, victim service personnell and victims and witnesses with beginner to intermediate computer skills. It is currently being tested in British Columbia, Canada in real-world trial situations. This site is password protected. Please contact me directly for samples.
